The IRA for all their terrorist activities NEVER blew themselves up deliberately in suicide bombings. The hand full that did kill themselves did so by accident not design. Islamic terrorists on the other hand, are on a perverted religious crusade where killing oneself can take them to that place in heaven where they'll be rewarded by virgin hand maidens a plenty. Does this hopeless government truly believe you can sit down and talk rationally with these sorts of people. Don't they hear and see the Islamic hate mongers all around the UK & the world spreading bile and hate. Have they ever succeeded in getting the Muslim Council of Britain to castigate terrorist actions or disown those Luton Muslims that chanted hate at our soldiers returning home. Were they asleep when illegal protests happened in Britain over a few cartoons. Did they not see the wackos in the Islamic world rise up around the world over the slightest provocation. If you cant get rational behaviour from our home grown extremists, what chance do you have against the Taliban. Extreme Islam is NOTHING like the sectarian conflict in Northern Ireland of the past and to believe talking to a bunch of mentally retarded terrorists that call themselves fighters won't work.
